Description
Strisselspalt is the hop variety that is traditionally produced in Alsace, France. It is one of the classical fine aromatic varieties. It is also sometimes referred to as Strisselspalter.
Strisselspalt is an aroma hop that is typically used in only late boil additions, including dry hopping.
Strisselspalt has a delicate, pleasant and well-balanced aroma. Due to its delicate aromas, Strisselspalt is ideal for use in late hop additions or in dry hopping. Some commonly used aroma descriptors for the Strisselspalt hop include spicy, citrusy, floral, fruity and herbal.
