Idaho Gem is a dual-purpose hop that can be used in all hop additions throughout the brewing process.
Named after its home state, Idaho Gem has rich levels of sweet, fruit-forward aromatic oils make Idaho Gem optimal for late kettle additions or dry hopping in a wide variety of styles, whether alone or in a blend. Idaho Gem shines with stone fruit, red berry, citrus, mojito, mint, and even powdered sugar aromas. Its flavors are soft and full with a remarkable smoothness, bright and forward impressions of fruit candy (think Juicy Fruit and Jolly Rancher) supported by citric grapefruit notes.
