Loral's father is Nugget and its mother is Glacier. Loral has a noble French pedigree on its mother’s side, with Glacier being the granddaughter of Tardif De Bourgogne. It was released publically in May 2016.
Loral is an aroma hop that is typically used in only late boil additions, including dry hopping.
Loral hops have a very pleasant, floral, peppery, citrus aroma with some dark fruit character. The floral, fruity, citrus, character tends to be more prominent in a beer made with this hop, while the qualities of earthy and herbal notes stay more subdued.
