What Makes a Hop "Noble"?
The term noble hops refers to four traditional Central European hop varieties — Saaz, Hallertau Mittelfrüh, Tettnang, and Spalt — cultivated for centuries in specific terroir-defined regions of Germany and the Czech Republic.
